Booking & Appointment Policy (Shane Ellis Jordan)

This policy outlines the process for booking a tattoo appointment with Shane Ellis Jordan (the "Artist") and defines the terms regarding deposits, rescheduling, and design changes. These terms are non-negotiable and are agreed upon when a deposit is made.

1. Booking & Consultation Process

 * Inquiry: All new projects begin with an inquiry submitted through the website's contact page or via message dm. Please provide as much detail as possible, including: a detailed concept description, body placement, estimated size in inches, and photo references.

 * Approval: The Artist reviews all inquiries and reserves the right to accept or decline any project based on artistic fit, complexity, and schedule availability.

 * Consultation: If the project is accepted, a brief in-person or virtual consultation may be required to finalize the concept and pricing before a booking date is secured.

2. Deposit Policy

A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to secure any appointment or to begin the design process.

 * Deposit Amount: The minimum deposit is $100, but may be higher for large, multi-session projects.

 * Purpose: The deposit secures your date and time and covers the Artist’s drawing and preparation time.

 * Application: The deposit is credited toward the final price of your tattoo. For multi-session projects, the deposit is applied to the final session.

 * Forfeiture: The deposit is automatically forfeited (non-refundable) under the following conditions:

   * Cancellation: You cancel your appointment for any reason.

   * No-Show: You fail to show up for your appointment.

   * Late Rescheduling: You reschedule or attempt to change your appointment with less than 24 hours / 1 business day notice.

3. Rescheduling and Cancellation

We understand that unexpected events occur. This policy is in place to protect the Artist’s time, which is booked in advance.

 * Acceptable Reschedule: If you need to reschedule, you must provide the Artist with at least 24 hours / 1 business day notice.

   * Your deposit will be applied to the new appointment date.

   * One (1) reschedule is permitted per deposit. A second reschedule will require a new, full deposit to secure the spot.

 * Cancellations/Late Reschedules: Any cancellation or reschedule made with less than 24 notice will result in the immediate forfeiture of the deposit. A new deposit will be required to book any future appointments.

4. Design and Drawing Policy

 * Timing: Designs are typically finalized 1-2 days prior to your appointment. The Artist will not send designs in advance. This is to prevent intellectual property theft and excessive revisions.

 * Minor Changes: Minor adjustments (e.g., small shifts in placement, minor line work changes) can be made at the beginning of your appointment.

 * Major Changes: Requesting a major design change (e.g., completely new concept, change in style, significant placement change) with less than 72 hours notice, or at the time of the appointment, will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. A new deposit will be required to book a new appointment and cover the significant additional drawing time.

5. Day-of-Appointment Terms

 * Lateness: Please arrive on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late without communication, your appointment may be treated as a no-show, and your deposit will be forfeited.

 * Guest Policy: Please attend your appointment alone. Due to limited space and focus requirements, friends, partners, and children are not permitted to wait in the tattooing area.

 * Payment: Full payment is due upon completion of the tattoo. The Artist accepts: Cash, E-transfer, (fees may apply).
